INTRODUCTION:
Prithvi Shah : The Ace Indian Cricketer in News Again.There is no one like him. At the age of 18, he holds the record for being the youngest to score a Test century on international cricket debut.
EARLY LIFE AND BACKGROUND:
Prithvi Shaw was introduced to cricket at a very young age, and his potential was evident from the start. His father, Pankaj Shaw, played a pivotal role in nurturing his talent. After the death of his mother when Prithvi was just four, his father made significant sacrifices, including quitting his business, to focus on Shaw’s budding cricket career. Recognizing the need for proper training, Shaw and his father moved to Mumbai, where the young boy joined a local cricket academy.
Prithvi Shah was introduced to the cricket field in his childhood, and his talent was evident from the very first days. His father Pankaj Shaw played a major role in Prithvi Shah’s game development. Pankaj Shaw decided to close his business and moved to Mumbai with Prithvi Shaw.
Pankaj Shaw enrolled him in a local cricket club and started coaching cricket. Prithvi started getting fame while playing for his school Rizvi Springfield High School.
His talent became famous in India in November 2013 when he scored 546 runs in a Harris Shield match due to which he was named among the rising cricketers. Prithvi Shaw became a regular player in the local tournaments of Mumbai and he kept playing well due to which he got a call from the Board of Cricket Control in India(BCCI) and he was included in the Under 19 cricket team and later he was declared the captain of the same team.
Under his captaincy, India won the Under 19 World Cup for the fourth time in which Prithvi Shaw played a big role. In that tournament, Prithvi Shaw batted beautifully and scored 261 runs which included 2 half centuries.

INJURIES AND SETBACKS:
As it happens in the life of every player, Prithvi Shaw was no exception and he also had to face injuries. Due to a severe ankle injury, he had to stay away from India’s Australia tour in 2018. This was the time when he was making his place in the Indian cricket team and when he came back to the Indian cricket team after a long period, many He had to face competition from new players. In 2019, Prithvi Shaw made a good comeback and started playing well in domestic cricket. And he started playing for Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League(IPL) and played a lot of victories for his team and made huge contributions from his side and his style of playing even the world-class bowlers made him one of the best T20 batsmen. His 82 runs in 41 balls against Kolkata Knight Riders showed the world that he had a dynamic style of playing which made many people his fans and started considering him as the brightest star of Indian cricket.
In 2020-21, Prithvi Shaw made an astonishing performance in his career, scoring a total of 827 runs including 4 centuries and played a big role in Mumbai winning the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
CHALLENGES AND ROAD AHEAD:
Prithvi Shaw had to accept the complaints of critics during his career who said that he cannot play good pace bowling and his performance is not consistent all the time and there were also many complaints about his fitness levels. Despite all these incidents, people consider him one of the best T20 players where he is successful in entertaining the people by attacking the opposition bowlers in his unique style and for smashing 4’s and stellar 6’s.
